Greentara is involved with Akshay Patra, Buddles, Aastha Foundation and others, especially Udayan Care. Our Commodore Rajan Bhandari is directly involved with the Greater Noida Chapter of Udayan which runs an orphanage and the Shalini Fellowship program (USF). Our Akshaya Patra advisors, Ajay Shankar and Rajat Nag, have advised us that Akshaya Patra has reached a wonderful milestone; they have served three billion meals. In celebration, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will serve the 3 Billionth meal to school children at Akshaya Patra's Vrindavan (Mathura District) centralized kitchen on February 11th, 2019. APF serves over 1.7 million children in 14,264 schools across 12 Indian States. Shri Madhu Pandit Dasa, Chairman of the Foundation, is to be congratulated. GreenTara is pleased to be working with Akshaya Patra. Attending the event as VIPs was our own Madhu Sudan Thakar and his wife, Renu.
